Rihanna Performs at the 2009 American Music Awards

Last night, the 2009 American Music Awards were held and among those in attendance was Barbadian singer Rihanna. I’m sure all eyes were on her as she took the stage, now that she is getting more comfortable with being in the spotlight.

She performed a mix of her singles “Wait Your Turn” and “Hard”, opening the performance by spinning upside down on some kind of wheel, wearing her striped white outfit.  Rihanna’s not usually known to be a great live performer, but I thought she was okay. I’m just glad to see her performing at all!
